
Group fitness can be a great way for people to meet and get in shape. USF Recreation & Wellness offers a free range of group fitness classes. Participants can choose from a wide variety of classes, from Total Body Strength to Yoga. They are all nationally certified and will give a challenging yet rewarding workout to all levels of fitness. No matter if you are a beginner or an experienced pro, there is a class that will suit you.

While the gym is free to the public, group fitness classes will be offered via Microsoft Teams. You will find the schedule and any other information here. All Group Fitness classes are free to attend, so there's no need to make a reservation ahead of time. You can register for a class online or at a kiosk in the Campus Recreation Center lobby. Register as "Standbys" for classes that have more than one sign-up. This is available up to five minutes before the class starts. If they have falsely claimed their information, anyone who doesn't sign up will get their membership back.
There are many classes offered at Campus Recreation. Some classes are held at the Campus Recreation Center and the WELL Fitness Center. Some are streamed through Microsoft Teams, so participants don't have to travel to another location to join the class. While in-person classes are open to all students on campus they can be restricted in their number. If they are required to meet at the WELL or another private location, some groups may choose to meet at a separate location.

Group Fitness has another unique feature: Group Cycle. This class is an indoor cycling class that challenges riders to increase their speed and endurance. Its MyWellness application makes it easy to track your cardio workouts. Cycle Concert Series gives patrons the opportunity to see their favorite artists live. Each week, a new artist will be featured. These unique programs are open to all and are a great way for people to exercise without being obtrusive.
